Here are a few suggestions from SGM for easier use and
prolonging the life of your RENZ Wire binding machine.
- Fully read directions enclosed with the machine. Tips below are
from instruction sheet supplied with machine.
- If possible, retain shipping box to return machine for service.
- ***Do not apply excessive pressure on small crimp handle. This may
bend size gauge and/or pop rivets on top of machine.***
- Put machine on a sturdy table.
- Empty waste tray after every use. Before removing waste tray, make
sure that the edge adjustment knob is set to the smallest diameter.
- Call with any questions.
Demo:
Turn edge adjustment knob to lowest setting before
emptying waste drawer.
Wire size should line up with red line.
Insert small loops of wire binding element paper
side.
***Do not apply excessive pressure on small
crimp handle. This may bend wire size slide guide and/or pop rivets on top of machine.***
The small loops should be inserted into paper side
of book before crimping.
The seam of the wire is now hidden behind the back
cover.
Turn edge adjustment knob to lowest setting before
taking waste drawer out.
